Be a Cheerful Receiver and Start Giving

During this month of May we continue to watch all the unhappy people on tv waving flags and shouting slogans as they trail the journey of the 2008 Olympic Torch on its way to Beijing, China.

Rice, the staple food for most third world countries, is becoming scarce and with it the rise of most consumables. Billions of children go to bed hungry daily and we who live mainly in the comfort of our homes cannot truly envisage the sufferings and want that exist in other parts of the world.

Can we make an effort to alleviate some of the needs of others less fortunate than we? Just today at Sunday school, our kids were reminded of the greatest commandment which is to love our neighbours, wherever they may be. So if you haven't already done so, do join a host of gurus and ordinary folk who care enough to go-MAD (make a difference) by extending loans to help small businesses in far-off lands.

Take a look at this link, listen to the calls and decide to take action by being a contributor in your own small but sure way … http://www.smartstartgiving.com

Not necessarily in return for the above action but as this site is dedicated to giving, here are a few more gifts for you to enjoy...
